Alicante
The traveller who visits this port-city can enjoy the castle
of Santa Barbara, and the surrounding panoramic views over the
coastline and inland.
The route to the castle takes you through historical parts of
the city where archeological finds have unearthed, medieval walls,
roman relics…etc.
To learn more about the history of the region a visit to the
archeological museum is a must situated in the old hospital of
San Juan de Dios. The exhibits provide interesting details of
the Iberian, Greek, and Roman eras.
The most modern area is the commercial port and yacht club. A
very attractive area with fantastic views and during the summer
months open air musical shows are held.
The open air terraces on the “Explanada” promenade
or restaurants in “El Barrio” are the ideal places
to have a drink and watch the world go by. 

Benidorm
Benidorm is one of the most important tourist places on the Mediterranean.
Close to 4 million people visit the town each year.
Benidorm is known for its high-rise towers and wide avenues.
Buildings which combine the Town Hall, the church of St. James,
the virgin of Suffrage and many other monuments in the area.
The “Parque de L´Aigüera” is a fantastic
piece of urban architecture designed by Ricardo Boffill and consists
of lots of green zones a main walkway and 2 auditoriums where
most converts and cultural events are held.
In the surrounding areas there are many beautiful places to visit
with fantastic scenery, quaint villages, with a completely different
ambience to the coast.
There are many places to go looking for adventures and thrills
such as the Theme Park “Terra Mitica” divided into
5 different civilizations who once reigned on the Mediterranean
coasts: Egypt, Rome, Greece, Iberia and Islands. In each one of
these civilizations you will find water and mechanical attractions
that make it one of the most important theme parks in the world.
Next to Terra Mitica, is Terra Natura, the biggest animal park
in Europe, split into 4 theme areas: Pangea, America, Asia and
Europe, with over 1.500 animals and 200 different species.
Mundomar and Aqualandia complete the fun fairs on offer. Mundomar
is a sea world and exotic animal park, where you can see these
beautiful creatures in their natural habitat. Next to this you
will find Aqualandia which is one of the biggest water parks on
the Costa Blanca.
Last but not least you have Benidorm´s night life, which
ranges from a romantic walk along the moonlit beach, to the many
bars, restaurants, beach bars, and discos, catering for all styles.

Valencia
Valencia is a modern cosmopolitan city which has combined its
past history with the most modern and innovate buildings all keeping
in harmony from the roman forum found in the “Plaza de la
Virgen” through to the city of Science and Arts.
The historical “Barrio del Carmen” in Valencia is
one of the best places to visit for its night life, with fiestas,
bars and summer terraces situated between the lords mansions and
other buildings.
The city runs along the old “Turia” river bed which
has been re-designed with lots of sport areas, parks and playgrounds.
Close to this you will come across the “Royal Gardens”,
which is the biggest park in Valencia, and is worth a visit for
its spectacular gardens, the zoo and the Natural Science Museum.
At the end of the dry river bed you will arrive at the 21st century
“City of Science and Arts”, which is separated into
4 different themes, each one worth a visit.
· Arts Palace, dedicated to the Scenic arts.
· Prince Felipe Science Museum, designed to hold permanent
and semi-permanent theme shows about the technological and scientific
world.
· L´Hemisferic, a planetarium, Imax cinema and laserium,
using the most innovate sound and picture technologies.
· L´Oceanografic, spectacular marine life park, conserving
all the marine life.
Valencia has lots of natural open spaces in the surrounding areas,
such as “El Palmar”, the typical Valencian fishing
houses “Barracas” and rice fields on the edge of the
beautiful “LA Albufera” lagoon, where you can enjoy
a boat trip to get to know the ecosystem second to none. 
Denia
Denia is a lovely town situated on the Costa Blanca between Alicante
and Valencia.
Evidence of different civilizations can be found in the architecture
of the town, one of the most important being the Arabic castle
that presides over the town.
Enclaved on a small hill with fantastic panoramic views over
the sea and town, rises Denia castle, and the Islamic fortress
from the XI and XII centuries, and in the heart of the castle
you will find the very informative Archeological museum.
Today the castle belongs to the national trust, where you will
find conservationists, restoring it to its former glory.
Other interesting places to visit are the “Torre del Gerro”
or the “San Juan” and “Santa Paula” churches.
Surrounding the town you have “Las Rotas” and the
Cape of San Antonio which lead you to the town of Javea giving
you spectacular views en-route.
The Maria Alta scenery must not be missed as it is a delight
to see the untamed environments, small secluded coves flanked
by pine trees, and rocky lookouts over the tranquil Mediterranean.
If you take the old road to Pego you will wind through luscious
green orange and lemon groves, where the sweet-smelling blossoms
make it an experience not to be missed.
When night falls, you can enjoy the restaurants, pubs, discos
and bars situated in the city center or on the moonlit beaches
listening to the gentle rhythm of the waves washing over the sand.
