El Montgo
2.000 hectares national nature park, situated between Denia and
Javea with its own wildlife and flora, setting off the beauty
of the archeological Finds in this area.
The magnificent mountain that gives the park its name, rises
above the cosmopolitan town of Denia, and has over 20 km of crystal
clear blue shorelines.
Peñon
de Ifach
Rising from the white sun drenched sands at Calpe is the imposing
national nature park “Ifach” which boasts over 400
different types of flora and sea birds. You can walk to the top
following a track or for the more adventurous there are climbing
tracks.
Calpe town and port extends from the foot of the mountain, with
a mixture of modern buildings and wide avenues mixed into the
old traditional fishing village, and with its exquisite fish restaurants
along the shoreline.
Orba Valley
This beautiful valley is situated between the mountains of luscious
green orange groves that run into the crystal clear waters of
the Mediterranean sea. Dotted in amongst the orange trees you
will find the various white sun bleached villages. Worth a mention
is the village of Valle de Laguart, considered the hikers cathedral
due to its old Arabic walkways which have been conserved to the
highest possible standard. 
Jalon
The Jalon valley is considered to be one of nature’s jewels,
with its breathtaking sea of vines surrounded by the stunning
mountains, bathed in the luminous blue Mediterranean skies. The
villages that make up this valley have kept all their charm, traditions,
and culture and are renowned for their excellent wines and exquisite
home make almond pastries.
Lagoons of la Mata and Torrevieja
The pink of the salt flats contrast with the sapphire blue shoreline,
making this a breathtaking site and one of the richest nature
reserves in Spain. This enormous salt lake has different hiking
routes with various observations posts strategically placed to
observe all the wildlife which are common to this area.
Tabarca
Island
This island was made a natural marine and wildlife reserve in
1986 due to its stunning crystal clear waters and breathtaking
underwater scenery. From the ports of Alicante or Santa Pola you
can take a boat trip to visit this stunning island.
