The gastronomy of the Costa Blanca is the typical Mediterranean
diet, one of the healthiest and well-balanced diets know to man.
A diet which due to the climate on the Costa Blanca is rich in
fish, vegetables, olive-oil, rice and fruit.
Ingredients which are used to prepare the typical dishes of the
region are such as Paella Valenciana, Arroz Negro (black rice),
Arroz al horno (Oven baked rice), Arroz a banda (fish and rice
stew), Arroz del Señoret (Prince-s rice).
These not being the only specialties inland, you can also taste
succulent lamb chops, rabbit in garlic, roast leg of lamb with
garlic and fresh rosemary and also home made sausages and black
puddings.
